Cooper is one funny kid.
He won't eat anything. Pickiest kid on the planet. And this has been our plight since day one. He simply won't believe us when we tell him to try something, that it is good. And when he does try something, his inclination is to spit it out. We live on: yogurt, grilled cheese, quesadillas, pouches (at least we're getting lots of good veggies and fruits in him), chicken nuggets (I hate myself for this one but it is literally the only meat he will eat), and peanut butter and jelly. We are SLOWLY broadening our ancillary foods and will eat random things like beets (ew) and tomatoes (what the?!). But god forbid we put an actual strawberry in our mouth. Or any type of pasta. Or a hamburger.
UNTIL NOW. About three weeks ago I discovered that my very picky, very stubborn son will eat ANYTHING, and I mean anything, so long as it comes out of the slow cooker. Thai curry beef. Indian lentil chicken. Spicy turkey chili. Anything. And he literally cannot get enough. In fact, when he sees that the slow cooker is out, he points and whines and sometimes tantrums because he wants a bite SO much.
It's the strangest thing. But that's our boy.
