Marin Living

We finally have a break in our schedule which is allowing us to start to take advantage of all that Marin Living has to offer.  We had a great visit with Donna last weekend - our first houseguest!  We tried out a new MV restaurant, took the ferry to the city for the baseball game, enjoyed a Saturday night outside and spent Sunday up in Sonoma, enjoying wine country.  The access and available activities up here is awesome.  The weather was terrific and we spent the majority of our weekend outside, which was fortuitous as we are still in the process of acquiring furniture and putting our house together which means seating is, well, non-existent.

This past weekend, we were dedicated to finally taking our sterile blank slate of a house and turning it into a home.  A few plants, some picture hung, more furniture ordered and installed blinds have made all the difference!    A lot of our furniture is coming this week so as soon as that is in, we will have the much anticipated "Before and After" pics on the work we've completed.    We did manage to have some fun and spent the afternoon back at Bar Bocce with our fellow pregnant friends.   It has been so much fun to go through this process together and we all giggle at what parallel lives we are living.  We all got married last year, all are having babies this year and the craziest part?  The order and time spacing of the events is the same.  Married:  Sally (Aug), Kelly (Sept), me (Oct).  Due:  Sally (Oct), Kelly (Nov), me (Jan).

Finished the weekend off with a trip to the stick with the kids.  All in all a terrific few weekends (and another Niner win!).

  1. Glad you got to have a weekend around town... and not jet setting too far. We look forward to coming and sitting on the new furniture. Let us know when we can come by and see the house:)
